All-Around Flexibility for Whatever Comes Your Way

Not every rider competes in just one event — and the All-Around Western Saddle is built for exactly that. Slone Saddles designed this saddle by combining the features that matter most across roping events into a single tree, so you’re not stuck choosing one event over another or owning multiple saddles to cover your season.

What Makes All-Around Saddles Different

The All-Around is unique to Slone Saddles — a saddle built to bring together the strengths of multiple roping events rather than specializing in just one. It fits like a calf roping saddle: wide and low, designed to be ridden with a cut-out pad, and built with a lower cantle that makes it easy to get out of quickly to rope a calf or tie a goat.

But the horn tells a different story. Instead of a standard calf roping horn cap, the All-Around carries the team roping horn cap with the back-side lip, designed to help hold a dally secure when it rides a little high. The result is one saddle that moves between events instead of forcing a choice. Like every Slone saddle, the tree is reinforced in the stressed areas, and the rigging is double-riveted to the skirt for a more even pull and a more secure seat.

Choose Your Series

The All-Around saddle is built on the same event-specific tree design across every series. Seat sizes run 12″ to 16″ in half-inch increments on each one.

Built From Decades Across Every Event

Slone Saddles was founded by Tod Slone, a seven-time PRCA National Finals Rodeo qualifier with nearly 40 years in the rodeo industry. That range of experience across roping events is exactly what makes a saddle like the All-Around possible — it takes knowing what a calf roper needs, what a team roper needs, and how those needs overlap, to build one tree that genuinely works for both. Slone Saddles has also served as the official saddle sponsor of the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) and National Junior High School Rodeo Association (NJHSRA) for more than 15 years.
