These are the calf roping saddles we currently have available. Calf roping is what put Slone Saddles on the map: the first Slone saddle was built for Tod’s own horse, and Tod went on to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo seven times as a tie-down roper. Our tie-down saddles have a wide, low fit that reduces leverage on the horse’s back, plus a low cantle for getting off quickly. Pair yours with a Tod Slone wool felt pad, or design your own.
