          * 2x Calgary Stampede $50,000 Champion

          * Copenhagen Skoal Dodge Truck Champion

With over 40 years of roping experience, Tod has used many different kinds of horse equipment. In his quest for perfection, he sought a saddle that would provide optimum fit and comfort for both horse and rider. In 1987, he combined years of his own experience with guidance from some of the premier saddle and tree manufacturers in America to develop his first saddle. With the refinements over the past years, he feels that the saddles offered by Tod Slone Saddles today are some of the best available.

A devoted "family man," high standards in his personal as well as his professional life have been of utmost importance to Tod over the years. The same high standards and quality work apply to all the products manufactured by Tod Slone Saddles.  With customer input as well as the involvement of his son, Ace, in professional rodeo, Tod keeps his finger on the pulse of the equine industry and continues to meet the ever-changing needs of human and equine athletes.
